Nathan Alan Davis is a Midwest based playwright, currently residing in Bloomington, Indiana. His work has been developed at Chicago Dramatists, the NNPN/Kennedy Center MFA Playwrights Workshop and Indiana University’s Department of Theatre and Drama. He has taught playwriting at IU Bloomington and the New South Young Playwrights Festival (Horizon Theatre, Atlanta).
Also an actor, Nathan has performed with theatre companies throughout Chicago including Collaboraction, Goodman Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, Pegasus Players and Raven Theatre—as well as understudying at Steppenwolf Theatre. Internationally, he has served as a writer, performer and dialogue facilitator in South Africa for the dance/drama troupe Beyond Words.
Nathan is pursuing his M.F.A. in Playwriting at Indiana University under the instruction of Ken Weitzman. He received his acting training and B.F.A. in Theatre from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. www.davisplays.com
